All Belgian and Dutch bidding host cities have their own specific character. Every city is worth a visit in itself. The cities are all connected by their likeness: their rich cultural heritage, their gastronomy and in particular their hospitality.
In the many snug pubs, the fantastic restaurants and on the inviting squares, local fans will once again turn this football event into one big party for all to enjoy. And because most Belgian and Dutch people speak several languages, foreign visitors will immediately feel at home in the Low Countries.
Fans will have great fun in the Belgian and Dutch cities. The huge offer of pubs, restaurants and museums, the many architectural gems, and the countless other sights will make sure they have no time to get bored.
All cities have excellent public transport systems. Most locals tend to take the bike though. And the best thing of all: the cities are only a couple of hours’ travel apart at most.
