What better way to show your total enthusiasm about something as a football fan? Simple: you just start off a wave. That’s why The HollandBelgium Bid, in cooperation with its Official Partners, has set up the best, biggest, bubbliest wave the world has ever seen.

Until FIFA takes its decision, football fans from all over the world can join this online wave. Every football fan can upload his/her own wave at www.JoinTheWave.nl / www.JoinTheWave.be and show it to the world. The goal is to ultimately create a long chain of FIFA World Cup^TM fans.

Participating in the wave will show everyone that a FIFA World Cup^TM is a true celebration for fans and footballers alike!

How does it work?

• Every football fan can join at www.JoinTheWave.nl / www.JoinTheWave.be. All you have to do is add your own video on which you perform your wave, alone or with friends, colleagues, team mates and relatives.
• But you can also authorise one of the many wave ambassadors to help boost the wave on your behalf. You could then let heavyweights like Justine Henin, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Jean-Marie Pfaff or Humberto Tan speak on your behalf to help bring the FIFA World Cup^TM to the Low Countries.
• The most special waves we receive will be featured in a separate frame. In short, be as creative as possible, it’s totally worth it!
